Let me just say Restaurant El Rey is a TOOT! Little gem in this shopping center. The dining area isn't too big. You order at the register and then sit down. They have a lot of plates to choose from. They have daily specials as well. Which is what I ordered the daily special enchilada plate.

Chicken Enchiladas Verdes was the special for the day. Comes with beans, rice, and small side salad. The chicken was so tender and flavored perfect. The corn tortillas here are made fresh, they were soo soft and being homemade made them that much better. The verde sauce on them had a great tomatillo flavor to it. The beans and rice were great as well. I ordered a side of flour tortillas (homemade also) which were huge in size and delicious. I put the rice and beans inside the flour tortilla with some salsa and make a taco. Their red salsa is pretty spicy and seemed to be a cemada (roasted) salsa. I just have to say the food here is true to mexican culture and authenticity.

I'm so confused on why this place has so many good reviews. My fiancee had the carne asada burrito and said it made him feel gross while I had a bean and cheese burrito with so much cheese it was honestly closer to a quesadilla. Easily the worst burrito I've had in my life. The craziest part? They cost the same amount. What.

Absolutely amazing! Sabor me encanta. Handmade tortillas, fresh ingredients, and great service. These things alone make this place a yes in my book! If you are in the area stop by for a drink and some very authentic Mexican food.. PROVECHO CHICOS!

Well let me start by saying. Wow. I was blown away with the smell coming from their kitchen. I came in on a Saturday afternoon the place was packed. I order food to go! The menu was very promising! I ordered  Carne Asada Chilaquiles and two carne Asada tacos for my daughter.

The Chilaquiles was wonderful. It was authentic and full of flavor. It came with eggs, steak and verde salsa, chips, rice and beans. It  was a huge portion. I definitely could of shared! The tacos were good also. Lots of meat and fresh ingredients. A big yes for me! I'll be back soon. Keeps those great dishes coming!

My absolute favorite place for Mexican food in Vegas!!! We found it by accident we were actually going to the place next door but decided Mexican sounded better and give this place a try. Not to be dramatic but best decision ever lol. Their bistec ranchero is THE BEST!!! My husband has gotten their carne asada fries and tacos, and my son likes their chicken flautas. Honestly everything is good! It's a must when I come to visit my parents who live 30min away lol totally worth it, it doesn't look like much on the outside but it's forsure worth the try.
